Pakistan Geo-Environment society is the only official society in Pakistan. It is one of the very few societies which work on the grass root level and concentrate on the promotion of the education and awareness at High School level. Project
Pakistan Geographical and Environmental Society funds, assists and leads various projects in order to protect the geography and environment of Pakistan. Our recent projects include ‘A tree for every Pakistani’, ‘Alternative sources of energy project’, ‘Geo-Environment Awareness project’.
Objectives
The Pakistan Geographical and Environmental Society (PGES) advances and promotes geography in business, government, science, and education. Our goal is to enhance the nation’s geographical literacy so as to engender sound public policy, national security, and human well-being worldwide.
Get Involved
Come and join us and we will welcome your involvement in the society. Among the many ways one can get involved with us, join us as a student or as a member. Students will compete in different contests and represent Pakistani Teams abroad whereas members play a role in running and funding the society.
